About Me
Career History
I came into therapy as a career because I loved science and applying science to the human experience. The deeper I got into my career, the more I experienced and fell in love with the art and spirituality of healing as I engaged more in my therapeutic work.
I’ve worked with IFS since 2016, and it is the main therapy model that I utilize throughout my services. I started my journey in supporting therapists through private practice consultation. I then started providing clinical consultation through the IFS Institute. I now look for more ways to expand or combine these services to meet your needs.

My Story
I discovered IFS when I was a graduate student. I immediately loved how IFS therapists hold a deep respect for clients and create an open, collaborative healing space. IFS has helped me create an inclusive, value-based practice where my clients and colleagues experience unconditional positive regard in our work together.
Personally, IFS has helped me grow as a person in ways that I could never have imagined. IFS therapy helped me gain confidence in my identity, embrace all aspects of myself, and feel less alone in my experiences.
Beyond Work
I currently live in Austin, TX. I want to acknowledge the land I am on is the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Tonkawa, the Apache, the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, the Lipan Apache Tribe, the Texas Band of Yaqui Indians, the Coahuiltecan, and all other tribes not explicitly stated.
I am a cisgender, bisexual woman. My pronouns are she/her. I am a Mexican woman with some Spanish heritage. My ancestors are indigenous to Texas and survived Spain’s invasion of Mexico and then Europe’s invasion of Texas and Arizona. My values come from my cultural background and lived experiences, both personally and professionally.
Mission Statement
My purpose is to support therapists as they navigate how their own identity and experiences shape their work and how they want to show up consciously for their clients. I believe we learn and grow best in the community, and I strive to create group settings where therapists can engage in their work and develop into the therapists they want to be.
My journey started with offering business coaching, an online course called Private Practice Blueprint, and engaging in supervision services. I am now expanding this passion beyond clinical support. I want to support every aspect of this unique career. Our job as therapists requires a lot of emotional labor, and I seek to support therapists as they navigate the profession’s nuances.

Why Choose Conscious Therapy?
Conscious Therapy is an excellent fit if you are looking for a collaborative experience. I’m here to assist you in engaging in deeper processing and growth opportunities that help you develop into a well-rounded, socially conscious therapist.
I’ll teach beyond lecture and encourage you to engage in the therapeutic process. I will help create opportunities for you to explore how your values tie into your private practice and care for yourself in this industry.
Beliefs and Values
I believe in collective healing and learning. I am constantly learning and evolving in my values. I will always be a student of decolonizing mental health. I seek to examine and be accountable with my power and privilege and honor my own experiences of marginalization.
Within these values, I like to connect with other therapists to create a value-based therapy practice. A thriving practice doesn’t just come from business building, but a healthy mental health plan as well. A therapist in burnout cannot create the practice they dream of.
